VBA Database Corrupt

The Visual Basic for Applications project in the Database is Corrupt. Caused by opening an MDE created by Access 2003 in Access 2002 SP2 and earlier. While Access 2002 and 2003 share the same MDB format the MDEs created by Access 2003 can't be read by Access 2002. You may receive a "The Visual Basic for Applications project in the database is corrupt" error message when you try to open an object that is in a compiled database or in a compiled project in Access 2002, in Access 2002 SP1, or in Access 2002 SP2 - 897764

I chose to use MS ACCESS 2003 to save as an Office 97 database; then upgrade the database to ACCESS 2000 where it was prior to me opening with ACCESS 2003.
