AT&T 5.8 GHZ Not Connecting

My new AT&T handset was not connecting to the base. I assumed this would be a common problem with a solution somewhere on the internet. Googling for it, I found nothing.

What do you know though? Its a lot like Windows. I just rebooted it (unplugged the base and plugged back in) and the handset connected to the base. My office did lose power the other day; so that's probably what caused it.
